How to: Delete a field in query view.
Solution:
In the query design grid, click in the column for the field to be deleted, and select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Delete Column'.
1) Open the query in the Query Design view.
2) In the query design grid, click in the column for the field to be deleted.

NOTE: Each column contains all the design information for one field.
3) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Delete Column'. (The fields and all of the design information is deleted.)
